Moimi Wezam

Moimi Wezam is a filmmaker based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He trained in cinema at Yolé!Africa in Goma, Ateliers Action in Kinshasa and La Fémis in Paris, before directing and producing his first feature-length documentary, ZERO (2018). 

ZERO was the opening film at the Congo International Film Festival in 2018, before being selected by several film festivals around the world. 

Moimi Wezam’s artistic approach aims for poetic subtlety between the reconsideration of strong ideas, the displacement of perspectives and the arrangement of visions. 

Moimi Wezam has produced some successful short films and has collaborated with Big World Cinema (South Africa), Aljazeera (Qatar), Vice News (USA), KVS (Belgium) and other organizations around the world. 

Created in 2020, his production company ZERO ATTITUDE FLIX is growing every day.
